Degree objective: Political Science
Hometown:  Concord, N.C.
Community service (current and past):  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Medical Clinic in Concord, N.C.
Most memorable volunteer experience:  Helping the mothers of sick children in Concord
The most enjoyable part about community service:  I love the amazing people I come in contact with.
What have you learned about yourself through volunteering?  I have gained a greater perspective on life.  I have learned than no matter how bad things get, there is always someone else who has it worse.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about volunteering?  Circumvent your fears and find something to do.  Everyone can do something.
