Many students who volunteer spend their service time during their earlier years in college when they have fewer obligations and commitments.

College of Charleston Senior Bronwyn Haines however is still giving back to her

community and has no plans of slowing down as she nears graduation in May.

Bronwyn has been an active member of the volunteer community since she was in high school in Ohio and has continued her devotion to helping others here in Charleston.

She has worked on numerous projects while putting in countless hours of dedication and hard work because she says “Volunteering isn’t something that you do because someone is making you but instead because you see what type of great impact you can have on one person or a large group.”
